Kern Craftsman and Beach Bungalow
This first floor remodel included a complete facade makeover including a new front patio and pergola, 2 bay windows, a new kitchen, new living room, and new dining room. The design of this kitchen was inspired by the Gamble House, a national historic American Arts and Crafts landmark home designed by Greene and Greene. The natural wood cabinets, oil rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware, Verde granite countertops, and travertine toned porcelain floor tile bring warmth and relaxation to this kitchen. Special attention was taken to ensure the windows were centered and symmetrical in the backsplash . Often times its what you don't see that can make the difference; in this case, all the outlets and switches were hidden within the cabinetry as not to draw attention from the backsplash. Structural flush beams were installed in place of three walls to create an open the floor plan. Located in Naples, Long Beach, CA.
