Martin Surf Kitchen and Laundry

The goal of this kitchen and laundry remodel was to incorporate a beach feel for the homeowners who are avid surfers. The backsplash colors bring in the color and movement of the ocean. The quartz countertops and linoleum bring the color and feel of soft warm sand. The wine bar captures a difficult and previously underutilized space. The laundry was hidden within a cabinet so as to not distract from the kitchen. The laundry was placed on a roll out shelf and the cabinetry includes a hidden access panel if the back of the appliances ever need to be easily accessed. The outlets were hidden as to not distract from the backsplash. Double wall ovens were built in to the cabinetry for the baker in the family. The dishwasher was also hidden with a cabinet panel as to not distract from the cabinetry. Located in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, CA.
