Corona Modern Bathroom and Laundry

The goal of this project was to remodel an outdated bathroom and move the laundry from the garage to the second floor of this Spanish / Modern home. The original floor plan was one large bathroom with a water closet separated by a wall. The toilet was moved next to the shower, and new laundry was built in the old water closet area after removing the dividing wall. A corner shower takes the place of an outdated bathtub. The laundry is well hidden by custom cabinetry. The difficulty of this project was plumbing the shower through the 1st floor ceiling / 2nd floor joists and not disturbing the kitchen below.
